A candidate portal redesigned around the drop-off points in the application funnel.
The firm received applications but lost most candidates partway through a long form. The client assumed the problem was traffic; the analytics said it was step three.
We rebuilt the flow as short stages with saved progress, resume parsing to prefill fields, and a mobile-first layout — because most candidates applied on a phone.
The Challenge & The Solution
A single fourteen-field form with no save state, on a layout that was unusable on mobile.
Progressive multi-step application, resume parsing to reduce typing, autosave between steps, and a recruiter dashboard for shortlisting.
Outcome
Completed applications rose sharply, with the largest gain on mobile.
